Wedding Photos

Wedding Photos. They’re here! Oh my goodness, what a beautiful moment in time. I’m sure I sound just like every other person who has been married. But to us and to many others who’ve only been legally allowed to wed for a few years now, it means the world to us! Australian marriage equality was just signed into law on December 25th. Talk about recent!  I won’t take up too much of your time because there are SO many wonderful photos to look through. Thank you to all of you who have supported us through this monumental time in our lives. We love you more than words can say! I want to formally apologize to all of my close friends and cousins who we just simply could not afford to bring along with us. We would love to have a party with all of you when we are stateside and when we are in Australia!

Please enjoy the wedding photos. The highlight of the week for me was having the love and support of my parents, Jim & Lynda and James’ parents, Helen and Milton with us. It was literally a dream come true for us. A special thank you to Elizabeth Snyder our officiant, Michael Wilson and Ashley Smith our best man and woman and Justin Baker at  Fuzzy Image Media for capturing such a perfect moment in time. We are forever grateful. Click on the link below to see ALL of the wedding photos!

Love Sonnet by Pablo Neruda

I don’t love you as if you were a rose of salt, topaz,
or arrow of carnations that propagate fire:
I love you as one loves certain obscure things,
secretly, between the shadow and the soul.
I love you as the plant that doesn’t bloom but carries
the light of those flowers, hidden, within itself,
and thanks to your love the tight aroma that arose
from the earth lives dimly in my body.
I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where,
I love you directly without problems or pride:
I love you like this because I don’t know any other way to love,
except in this form in which I am not nor are you,
so close that your hand upon my chest is mine,
so close that your eyes close with my dreams.
